PROF. H. WICHTERLE, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY NY SEMINAR

We are pleased to invite you to the seminar of Prof. Hynek Wichterle, PhD Co-director of Motor Neuron Center, Columbia University New York, entitled "Making and breaking spinal motor neurons".
Prof. Wichterle is a pioneer in the study of motoneuron development. He has beenù the first to define the possibility of differentiating pluripotent cells into motoneurons (Cell 2002).
Our laboratory collaborates with Prof. Wichterle within the EU Rise "Crossneurod" project.
CROSS NEUROD MID-TERM MEETING

The mid-term review meeting of the CROSS-NEUROD project will focus on the evaluation of the overall progress of the project (the work carried out within the work packages, the milestones and deliverables, the secondments executed), on the project management, dissemination/outreach activities, impact (scientific, technical, social, commercial, environmental) as well as on the discussion of the questions concerning the project.

As part of the Crossneurod Rise project, supported by the European community, Prof. Francesco Lotti of Columbia University is a guest for an exchange period at the laboratories of the Dino Ferrari Center, UNIMI.
On 3rd July 2019 he will hold a seminar entitled: "Mechanisms of Axon Degeneration and Neuroprotection in Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CPN)".
