CROSS-NEUROD PROJECT

The CROSS-NEUROD program addresses scientific matters concerning mechanisms underlying Neurodegenerative Diseases using three-dimensional cell culture systems. This project will carry out a comprehensive analysis of these issues related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), as well as frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and Parkinson Disease (PD), with the final aim to identify novel meaningful therapeutic strategies by exploiting the complementary expertise of different partners, creating synergies between them through the targeted secondments of staff.
